Q: I am paying on a student loan and I feel I will never get out of debt. It’s making me depressed. Any suggestions to help me feel there is hope for eliminating debt?

A: There is nothing more freeing than being out of debt. Your student loan debt most likely has a low-interest rate and while it may seem like it will be a long road to eliminating this debt, you will. I would change your wording and reframe to I am living with prosperity and abundance with higher education and appreciation for my achievements. When you can also give gratitude for the positive things you have in your life; material items or the many non-material gifts, focus on what you have and be grateful. It will make you feel good to give back, maybe clothing you no longer wear, a small donation to your favorite charity, and by giving, you will focus on free-flowing as opposed to holding on. In other words, when you give it feels good and allows the free-flowing gifts to help others and it is an act of service and kindness.

When you give it opens up the flow for even more abundance to come into your life. Trust that the Universe has your back and open your heart to the expansion of giving. It goes into the field and it will come back to you tenfold. You then will be able to pay down your loan and it will eventually be paid in full in Divine timing. Remember to focus on the good you have as opposed to lack. Say to yourself, “I am or I have such as I have abundance, or I am abundant.” This is being in the present and telling the Universe you are ready to receive. Focus on what it looks like to be free of any debt. Feel it and know it’s in motion and on its way. When you pay on your loan, bless the payment and send it on its way. Think of it as a small miracle that you are paying the loan down. It will feel better for you to focus on all of the good and paying the loan will be much less burdensome.
