How to Find Silence In Our Hectic World?

When you awaken in the morning, stay quiet and take a few moments to yourself and just breathe. If you are distracted by some noise, simply return to the breath and practice being in the moment. Do not force anything. Relax into the moment. Silence is your friend.

Get into the practice of this and if you can, take some silent moments prior to going to sleep. Turn off any electronics, and perhaps light a candle and practice your deep breathing.
