STRESS AND ANXIETY
“Modern man is sick because he is not whole.”
– Carl Gustav Jung
Stress – can it be avoided?
All of us are greatly affected by stress. Review the news online, read the newspaper, or turn on T.V. news, and it’s enough to get the cascade of stress hormones reaching havoc.
The waves of environmental, political, and global issues, health concerns, alarming divorce rates, chronic diseases, financial instability, scandals, digital toxicity, and identity theft also contribute to the daily stresses in our lives.
Holistic Stress Management
Holistic Stress Management is based on the premise of ageless wisdom; the whole is always greater than the sum of the parts. This has been known for millennia. All of the healers of all times will attest to this.
So, what are these parts that make up the whole? The wisdom keepers in all cultures would agree: mind, body, spirit and emotions.
When working with a client to lower stress/anxiety, I look at the whole human. While we get off our path along life’s journey, we need to examine these parts that make up the whole to guide us in getting back to wholeness. Holistic Stress Management honors the integration and balance of mind, body, spirit and emotions to achieve the whole.
Healthy coping techniques
I assist you with the integration of healthy coping techniques in all four quadrants, so you can learn to integrate them into your wellness practice. We focus on what’s right with you as opposed to what’s wrong with you.
Relaxation techniques will be shown to assist you with staying calm even under heightened anxiety and stress. It’s imperative that one always return to the breath. Breath work calms and centers us even during panic.
It is my honor to invite you to work with me in assisting you in raising your level of consciousness and guiding you in reducing your stress and anxiety as a step toward positive balance in your life.
