how to deal with negative emotions

Q: There are some things going on in my life that are causing negative emotions. Can you guide me to let these go?

A: I talk a lot about the power of intuition and tapping into it. We all have an intuition, it’s the degree of how much we use it to our benefit. Our intuition is what I refer to as our “Inner Guidance System.”This is located in the solar plexus, in the stomach area. Our intuition does have the truth, the answers we seek when we need to know something. We often try and think our way through negative thoughts and emotions. I find that consulting intuition is always useful. How can your intuition guide you? During times of stress and anxiety, your intuition can navigate a more centered alternative to stress and worry. You can gauge the validity of your worries. If you get quiet and tune in, and discover they’re unfounded, you will feel a sense of relief. If you discover they are founded, you can come up with a strategy to deal with them, and you will. Regardless of either situation, you’ll have a gut-centered game plan for knowledge and the best self-care.

I am convinced that listening to your own intuitive voice, not the voice of another, can be lifesaving. Before anxiety and panic completely own you, go within and ask.

You can also ask for your intuition to reveal what you need to know through a dream. I have done this many times, and I received an answer and it was crystal clear. It may not always be what you think you want to know, however, one thing’s for sure, your intuition doesn’t lie.

He/She is your inner guidance that will never lead you astray. So the lesson is that in the midst of doubt, uncertainty, anxiety, remember to tune in.Tell yourself, “When I feel this emotion, I’ll take a few deep breaths, pause, and center myself.” Life around you as you know it may be falling apart, but you can always ask your inner guidance system what to do. She has never let me down, and I thank her daily.
